Progressive Software Solutions was called in by a local scale dealer to help them sell a system to the largest plastic pipe extrusion company in the country. Progressive Software Solutions appeared with the scale company salesperson and assisted in the sales process. As a result, Progressive Software Solutions developed a Rice Lake 920i batching system that replaced 16 legacy General scale indicators. The system is now critical to the clients production. Installation included wiring of 36 relays and related boards, scale indicator and calibration of all 16 scales as well as many onsite programming changes. Monitors 16 scales Stores Recipes 100 recipes Interfaces with legacy PLC as well as newer techology Cut set up time from 1 hour to about 15 seconds.	A Massachusettes based scale company called Progressive Software Solutions to develop a networked counting scale system for one of the largest golf companies in the world. The system consisted of several Rice Lake 920i scale indicators with counting scale capability. The scales were networked to share information from one central database stored on a PC. The PC contains a database upkeep program and serves as the main communications portal for the system. Upon request by the end user, Progressive Software Solutions added several layers of security recently on the scales and PC. System turnaround was less than 2 weeks and has worked from the onset. Because of the intuitive nature of Progressive Software Solutions systems, the system required no visits by Progressive Software Solutions. A Connecticut based scale company that typically does not deal in truck scales called Progressive Software Solutions to develop a simple weigh in and weigh out system for the Rice Lake 920i. The system also needed to integrate to a legacy ticket printer and track product types. System turnaround was less than 2 weeks and has worked from the onset. Because of the intuitive nature of Progressive Software Solutions systems, the system required no visits by Progressive Software Solutions.	A mid sized chicken processing house called Progressive Software Solutions looking for a full order entry system with integrated bar code shipping, inventory and real time lot and production data collection. The system utilizes the 920i for case labeling and auto lot numbering and direct wireless communications to the host PC. The PC system was a far greater challenge. The system is designed to manage all data entry and shipping throughout the entire facility. Progressive Software Solutions now carries a similar packaged product called Meat House . The 920i has also been very effective for several meat processing plants where label printing and order managemet was needed in a stand alone configuration.

System turnaround was less than 2 weeks and has worked from the onset. A local Vermont scale company contacted Progressive Software Solutions and asked us to build a cheese scale and labeling system. This system tracks cheese blocks individually and then labels each case automatically once the correct number of cheese blocks are processed. Each label is a bar coded label containing weight item and description. System turnaround was less than 2 weeks and has worked from the onset, with some modifications since delivery.. A Massachusettes based scale company contacted Progressive Software Solutions in need of an inexpensive, in motion check weigher. The system utilized 2 photo eyes and a 920i scale system. The system was a simple install and has worked ever since	A Dallas based scale company contacted Progressive Software Solutions with the need to collect scale data from several scales for a Lubbock, TX cotton gin. The final system consisted of 2 netwroked 920i scale indicators . Scale 1 is a large platform scale with fork truck drive up capability. After placing a cotton bale on the scale, the operator presses a wireless remote and data is stored on the other 920i scale. Scale 2 is the data collector and has a bar code scanner attached to it. the scanner scans pre printed bale tag ID's and data is stored on the scale. At day end, the operator connects a Compaq Ipaq PDA and uploads all the scale data. The PDA is then brought to a PC in a remote office and the data is downloaded.
